Intensive thesis tutorial "Mesoamerican art and ritual"

On 3 November 2016, the thesis tutorial "Mesoamerican art and ritual" will start, intended for MA and RMA students specialising in Heritage of Indigenous Peoples and/or Archaeology of the Americas with a main interest in Mesoamerica.

This thesis tutorial is a project group realising practical exercises in iconographical interpretation (mainly of ancient Mexican pictorial manuscripts and related visual art) with methodological and theoretical discussions.

Tutor/coordinator: prof. dr. Maarten Jansen.

Start: 3 November 2016
Time: blocks 2 and 3, Thursdays 10.30 (sharp!) - 12.45 hrs in Van Steenis B209 (‘Mesoamerican Room’).
